This is a family favorite that we always had over the holidays.
1 c butter
1/2 c sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c flour
1/4 t Salt
3 T poppy seeds
3/4 c semi sweet chocolate chips
- Cream butter and sugar. Beat in yolks. Blend in flour, salt, poppy seeds and chill.
- Shape into 1 inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Dimple the tops. Bake 10 minutes at 375. When removed from the oven, top several chips in the dimple on the still warm cookies. Mix melted chips with toothpick if desired.
